4 Days tour from Marrakech to the desert 

Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi n‘Tichka Mountain Pass – Ouarzazate

Your private tour begins with an early start in Marrakech to Telouet, surpassing the Tizi n’Tichka Mountain trails. On 2260 height meters, we visit the kasbah of pasha El Glaoui and enjoy our lunch! Afterwards, we’ll spend our afternoon visiting the kasbah of Aït-BenHaddou and the Berber villages in the Ounila valley. From there, we travel on to Ouarzazate to have dinner and settle for the night in a local hotel.

Day 2: Ouarzazate – Dadès Gorges – Todra Gorges – Merzouga desert

After breakfast, we drive on the street of thousand citadels leading to Skoura, stopping once at the Amredhyle kasbah. We then continue to the valley of roses and the fortresses of Mgouna, Boumalne and Tinghir. This is going to be a long drive after which we’ve earned our lunch in the beautiful Todra Gorges. In the afternoon, our journey continues to Tinejdad and the Tourog Palm Groves in Erfoud. There, we’ll take the chance to visit a local factory producing goods out of fossils – you’ll be able to pick up some souvenirs in the designated shop! Thereafter, we’ll take a look at the fascinating dunes of Erg Chebbi in the Merzouga desert. Leaving our 4×4 behind, we ride on camels into the sunset and spend the night in a Berber camp.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Tazarine – Zagora

Starting early to watch the sun rise over the desert, we’ll be riding on camels again towards a tiny hotel and have breakfast there. Passing through Rissani, we’ll make our way through the Tadilalet Palm Groves and have lunch in Alnif. Thereafter, we’ll drive on to Tazarine and
Tagora, traversing the desert plateau that harbours the villages of Taftachna and Aït Ouaaziqne. There, you can take your time to freshen up for dinner and enjoy your overnight in a local hotel.

Day 4: Zagora – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

After breakfast, we pass the Draa Gorges with its plentiful palm groves and kasbahs on our way to Ouarzazate. There, we enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch before travelling back to Marrakech, once again using the Tizi n’Tichka Mountain trails providing picturesque views.
