Moroccan gastronomy is one of the best in the world
Moroccan cuisine is known throughout the world. Rich in taste and full of color.
Tajines and couscous, two tasty dishes, but there is also much more to discover. Head to Marrakech’s Jemaa El Fna square, a large square that fills with food stalls at night, to sample all that is delicious about Moroccan cuisine.
Lamb is by far the most popular meat in the country, and is the basis for a variety of Moroccan meals. Vegetables and spices make for a truly enriching cuisine. Try also Harira (famous Ramadan soup) or Bissara (white bean soup).
