4 Days hike to the Toubkal summit

Day 1:
We start hiking in Marrakech, take a route in the Atlas Mountains and occasionally stop to take photos and enjoy the view. On our route, we cross Oukaïmeden (2.260m in altitude) and some prehistoric carvings in the mountain walls, which will be our stop for lunch! In the afternoon then, we continue hiking to Tacheddirt and pass Tizi Nadi at 2.920m. After this 5h hike we enjoy a traditional dinner and spend the night in a camp.
Day 2:
Starting in Tacheddirt, we undertake a 3h walk along Tizi n’ Tamatert (2.279m). We’ll have lunch there. Afterwards, we continue on a 5h hike to the village of Imlil where we’ll spend the night at a familiar Berber family’s place.
Day 3:
On this day there’s a 5h walk around the Imlil valley’s region on our list, passing Sidi Chamarouch, and stopping for lunch at a river on our way. We then walk back to the camp in Inlil to have dinner and our overnight.
Day 4:
After an extensive breakfast, we begin hiking the Toubkal summit (4.167m). This will grant us breathtaking views of the whole region. We then hike back down to our camp in Imlil and have lunch. Lastly, we you transfer you back to Marrakech.
The tour includes:
– Transfer (here/there) from and to the hotel
– An English and French speaking tour guide
– Overnights in every mentioned lodging
– Donkeys or camels to transport your luggage
– A well-versed cook preparing our meals
– All main meals during the tour (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
The tour does not include:
– Travel insurance
– Flight costs
– Drinks (water, juices, wines etc.)
Confirmation and Payment
25% deposit is necessary to confirm any program. The reservation should be done at least 4 weeks before starting program. Tours booked before that need full payment at the time of booking.
All payments via bank transfer, checks (payable in euros, MAD or US $) and credit card companies like Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discovery or via PayPal are accepted.
