4 Days hike from Oukaimeden to Jbel Toubkal

Day 1:

From Marrakesh to Agersioual. First, we’ll meet the team – the guide, the cook and the muleteer – and then start our hike towards the Ouirgane National Park. There, we’ll have a break for lunch on the green and vivid fields! The night will be spent in a house nearby a Berber village in the Tizian region.
4-5h hiking time (L, D)

Day 2:

After breakfast, we hike through the amazing Azzadene valley. We’ll cross a soughing alpine brook surrounded by luscious walnut trees; the brook has its origin up in Toubkal. The night will be spent in another house on a campsite.
7h hiking time (B,L,D)

Day 3:

Today, we’ll take rather steep climbing path from the Azzadene village to the Toubkal area. Thereby, we’ll pass the Ighoulid waterfalls and cross the Aguelzim mountain pass (3.560m in altitude). During lunch, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Atlas Mountains there. The
night will be spent in “Niltner Hut”, a shelter on the Mount Toubkal (3.200m in altitude). We’ll most probably share the dormitory with other hikers.
7h hiking time (B,L,D)

Day 4:

We get up early and further hike Toubkal in 4.167m in altitude to experience a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding mountain strips. In good weather, you might even see the Sahara! Then, it’s a long way down into the valley to Imlil, passing the preceding day’s hut.
This is the last and most demanding day of our trip, hiking for ca. 8-9 hours. After 900m uphill, we’ll climb down 2.500m to Imlil, where the transfer back to Marrakesh will be organized.

The tour includes:

– Transfer (here/there) from and to the hotel
– An English and French speaking tour guide
– Overnights in every mentioned lodging
– Donkeys or camels to transport your luggage
– A well-versed cook preparing our meals
– All main meals during the tour (breakfast, lunch, dinner)

The tour does not include:

– Drinks (water, juices, wines etc.)
