Day 1 : Fes – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

Our private tour begins with a drive towards the Atlas Mountains, stopping in the villages Azrou and Ifrane. There, we’ll have the chance to visit the famous Cedar woods, home to the Berber apes. From there, we cross the Tiz Ntalghamt mountain pass and the Ziz gorges. We recommend a stop at this beautiful view with freshly served Moroccan mint tea !

Our journey then continues to Erfoud and Rissani, a desert oasis right at the gates of the Sahara. Having arrived at the Erg Chebbi desert dunes, we’ll trade in our 4×4 for camels and ride above the dunes, being guided by experienced camel herdsmen. Our destination is a desert camp promising an unforgettable night with delicious meals, Berber music, a warming campfire and the star-filled sky above us.

Day 2 : Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dadès Gorges

We’ll start early on this day to witness the sunrise in the Merzouga desert and ride on camels back to the village hotel. From there, we travel on towards Tinghir to reach the Todra Gorges, the highest and narrowest canyon of Morocco. Here, we may stop to wander around the valley
and have lunch. Our next stop is the Dadès Gorge, where we’ll visit the age-old sandcastles and geological formations known as “apes’ toes”. We spend the night in a hotel in the Dadès Gorge, dinner and breakfast included.

Day 3 : Dadès Gorges – Ouarzazate – Aït-Ben-Haddou – Marrakech

After breakfast, we drive towards Ouarzazate, passing the street of thousand kasbahs. We stop in Kalaat Mgouna, the center of the valley of roses, to stretch our legs and enjoy lunch in a local hotel. Next, we stop at the famous kasbah of Aït-Ben-Haddou. We then cross the Tizi n’Tichka pass in the Atlas Mountains before ending our tour in Marrakech.

• Round-trip transportation within Marrakech (to/from hotel, airport, or any
other desired location)

• Private transfer in a comfortable four-wheel drive vehicle with air conditioning

• Experienced English or French speaking guide and driver

• Camel trekking in the Merzouga Desert

• Overnight at desert camp in Merzouga

• Breakfast and dinner

NOT included in the private tour :

• Lunch and drinks

• Flight ticket to and from Morocco

• Entrance fees to monuments / museums

• Anything, any insurance not listed in the itinerary

Confirmation and Payment

25% deposit is necessary to confirm any program. The reservation should be done at least 4 weeks before starting program. Tours booked before that need full payment at the time of booking.

All payments via bank transfer, checks (payable in euros, MAD or US $) and credit card companies like Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discovery or via PayPal are accepted.
