2 Days Tour From Marrakech to the Zagora Desert 

Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi n‘Tichka Mountain Pass – Ouarzazate – Zagora

Your private tour begins in Marrakech. From there, we take the Tizi n‘Tichka Mountain Pass, which snakes its way through the Atlas mountains! Afterwards, we pass through Aït-BenHaddou and Ouarzazate, which is a haven city located at the edge of the desert. From there, we’re off to Zagora – the gate to the Sahara desert. Here, we’ll be doing a one hour camel ride over rocks and desert sand until we reach our camp for the night. A delicious meal of tagine and bread will be our dinner as the local berbers perform traditional songs around our campfire.

Day 2: Zagora – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Starting early to watch the sun rise over the desert, we’ll be riding on camels again towards a tiny hotel where we can freshen up. One 4×4 ride later, we’re already in Aït-Ben-Haddou – quite literally a picturesque Moroccan kasbah which regularly serves as a Hollywood film location. Movies like Gladiator have been shot there! We’ll have lunch there before making our way back to Marrakech, once again passing the Tizi n‘Tichka Mountain Pass.
